Cultural diversity on stage: A theatre visit in the nearby town of Brunico
Fancy an entertaining cultural evening? A visit to the theatre is a great change of pace from days spent in the mountains. The cultural heart of the Val Pusteria valley, the small town of Brunico (Bruneck), is only about 28 km from Badia and is easy to reach. Here you can choose between two stages:

Stadttheater Brunico: Located on Via Dante, the town theatre offers a varied, year-round programme (with a break in summer). From plays and cabaret to jazz, there is something for every taste.

Kleines Theater (Small Theatre): This stage enriches the cultural life of the town with its own performances.
If you are interested in local culture, you should also keep an eye out for Ladin theatre performances. The Ladin Cultural Institute ‘Micurà de Rü’ in San Martino in Badia (St. Martin in Thurn) regularly organises plays that provide an authentic insight into the language and traditions of the valley.
