Langlauf Europacup

European Cup in cross-coutry skiing

On December 13 and 14, Alta Badia is venue for the European Cup in cross-country skiing.

Preparations are already underway... and on December 13 and 14 the starting shot is fired! On this weekend the European Cup takes place, and Alta Badia will be the centre of the cross-country ski world. Thanks to the great organisation and preparation of the slopes in the cross-country skiing event in February 2008, the European Cup has been assigned to this region. The cross-country ski centre of Alta Badia offers all characteristics that are needed for a competition of international level.

The centre offers a total of 23 km of ski slopes and 8 different cross-country ski tracks. The Sass Dlacia, directed towards the Fanes nature park, as well as the Saré and Pinaisloipe, belong to the easier slopes, while the Pré de Costa, Störes, Conturines, Scotoni and Settsass ski slope are of medium difficulty. There is also a 700 metres long track wich has been primarily established for beginners.

No matter if you prefer watching professional cross-country skiers when they are competing, or trying cross-country skiing yourself in the great Alta Badia landscape – this place is really worth to be visited.
