Sella Ronda Bike Day 2009

On July 12, 2009 the four Dolomite passes round the Sella alpenstock are reserved for cyclers.

Dear bicyclists, have you already prepared your bike for the Sella Ronda Bike Day, taking place on July 4? If not, so hurry up, as the preparations for this great event are in full swing. Once again goodbye to acoustic pollution, motors and gas, as the road leading roudn the Sella alpenstock on this day is reserved for bicyclists only, while motorized vehicles are not permitted from 9 am to 4.30 pm. Cycling across the fantastic Dolomite landscape together with thousands of passionate bicyclists, wouldn’t that be great?
Moreover the refuges and taverns along the road offer a special “Sella Ronda Bike Day bicyclists dish” as well as a special T-shirt ( while stock lasts).

> from the Sella Pass to the Gardena Pass
> from the intersection Maciaconi to the border between Selva and S. Cristina - SS 242).
 
> from Corvara to the Gardena Pass and from Corvara to the Campolongo Pass
> from the valley station of the Boè cablecar - SS243 and SS 244.
 
> from Arabba to the Pordoi Pass SR 48 and to the Campolongo Pass SP 244
> Arabba, from the intersection with the Campolongo Pass up to the Pordoi Pass.
 
> from Canazei to the Sella Pass and to the Pordoi Pass
> Canazei, intersection Dolomites street and street of Col de Pin near Hotel Bellevue and the postal office - SS 48.
