Snowpark Alta Badia and Children’s Carousel

The skiing area of Alta Badia does not only offer state-of-the-art lift facilities, but also a recently inaugurated snowpark and a children’s ski carousel.

With the inauguration of the winter season 2009/10, a new snowpark has been opened in the skiing area of Alta Badia. This great facility is above all dedicated to younger freestylers, snowboarders and skiers and it is located at the Piz Sorega high plateau between the ski slopes Fraina and Cianpai, offering rails, boardercross and jumps for every level of difficulty.

Also for the little ones, Alta Badia has got something really special to offer, which is the Children’s Ski Carousel. Eight lift facilities of the skiing area Alta Badia have been marked with animals which are aimed at making orientation for children easier. Moreover there is a special map for children which makes childen find their way.

Moreover every Tuesday morning you have the possibility to reach the mountain Piz Sorega by snow groomer. Once reached the mountain you have two possibilities, either to have a delicious breakfast, or to ski down the well-groomed slopes, before the lift facilities open.
