Pic' Museo Ladin

In the museum of San Cassiano you can see bear skeletons of the Conturines cave

Since 1990 the Pic' Museum Ladin can be found in the one of the oldest buildings of San Cassiano. In this museum you can see a unique fossil collection consisting of remainings of the "Ursus spelaeus", a species of bears that lived in the Conturines mountain range.

However, there are also folkloristic items and tools. In the future, further exhibition sections are planned regarding the subjects "Alpinism in Alta Badia" as well as "flora and fauna".
