Who does not know the world-famous Gran Risa, slope on which since December 1985 World Cup races in alpine skiing are staged? This slope features some interesting figures, for example the maximum gradient, which is 53%, as well as an altitude difference of 448 m. This ski slope is a real challenge, also for the best alpine skiers. This ski slope is considered to be one of the most beautiful and at the same time one of the most challenging ski slopes of alpine ski World Cup.
Usually on the Gran Risa, a Giant Slalom of the male ski racing circus takes place. In 2006 there was also a special slalom. Of course thousands of people come to Alta Badia to see the World Cup races, when Pallander & Miller compete.
By the way, the finish of the race is directly located in the centre of La Villa! And if you are lucky you might get to see some VIPs, as the crème de la crème of the ski racing circus and the world of celebs also wants to see adventurous ski races...
