Cycling tour to the Pisciadù Waterfalls

A fascinating natural spectacle at the foot of the mighty Sella Group impresses cyclists along this 8 km long round tour

The Pisciadù Waterfalls (Cascate del Pisciadù) are a must-see for all those who spend some days in the Alta Badia. This tour is easy and is also suitable for those who are not experts - it starts at the valley station of the Piz Boè Funicular in Corvara.

From there we cross the Borest forest and cycle towards Colfosco. After approx. 3.5 km we can see the impressive Pisciadù Waterfalls. Nearby there's the access to the famous Brigata Tridentina (or Pisciadù) fixed-rope route. Of course you can take a break at this astonishingly beautiful spectacle, enjoying also the great Val Mezdì valley. After setting off we proceed towards Colfosco, where we branch off at the Lujanta Tavern and cycle along the asphalted street.

Once reached the Colfosco Tourist Information, we turn left and pass by the beautiful Gothic church - a stop in order to visit this parish church is worthwhile. Afterwards we proceed towards Pescosta, and after crossing the hamlet we get to our starting point, the Piz Boè Funicular.
