What a sight, surrounded by peaks, every way you look. When you reach Forcela Salares, one of the most beautiful notches in the whole area, and the Piza Salares peak, you will find edelweiss and the beautiful little Lagació lake, with its constantly changing colour. We are in the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park with spectacular views over Lagazuoi and Conturines.

Itinerary: Valparola Pass (2168 m) - Forcela Salares (2283 m) - Piza Salares peak (2545 m) - Lech de Lagació lake - Scotoni hut - Capanna Alpina - Sciaré
Difficulty: medium/difficult
Meeting point: 8.15 a.m. San Cassiano - Sciaré parking area (at 8.27 a.m. by bus to the Valparola Pass - included with Alto Adige Guest Pass)
Return: approx. 5.30 p.m.

Distance: approx. 12 km
Walk: approx. 5 hours
Lunch: packed lunch

The guide speaks Italian and German.

Domestic animals and strollers are not allowed.
