On the traces of wild animals

The theme trail “Tru di tiers” takes you in a short walk from the Rif. Lee mountain hut to the Lech Dlá Lé lake

The short walk starting from the Rif. Lee mountain hut, situated high above the village of Badia at 1,850 m a.s.l. in the heart of the Dolomites, takes only about 15 minutes. The mountain hut can be reached by the La Crusc Chairlift (mountain station, 1st section) - the theme trail "On the traces of wild animals" with its beautiful wooden animals is above all known among families.

Eagle, owl, bear and other animals, carved out from pine and larch wood by a local artist, can be found along the 400 metres long path. It starts at a big wooden portal and leads through the forest in a southerly direction to the small Lech Dlá Lé mountain lake. Of course also interesting information about these inhabitants of the Alps is offered.

Doing this walk with kids, you can pick up a free card for the stamp collection game at the chairlift or the mountain hut. At every single station there's another stamp, and with the completed card every child gets a nice souvenir to remember this adventure in the mountains of the Alta Badia. The trail is also suitable for prams. By the way: nearby there are the famous Armentara Meadows and the La Crusc Pilgrimage Church.
