Nature park visitor centre

The Fanes-Senes-Braies Visitor Centre in San Vigilio di Marebbe - characterised by a rather modern architecture expressed in its elliptic form - informs about the local flora and fauna

On the ground floor of the visitor centre you are informed about various aspects regarding the flora and fauna of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park as well as information about the formation of the Dolomites, fossils, mountain pastures and the famous cave bear of Conturines.

On the upper floor, however, there are terrariums with living animals as well as an interactive play corner. Children can enjoy Ladin sagas and play games on animal traces. Furthermore, in Daksy's Kids' Workshop children between 6 and 12 years can do handicrafts with natural materials and find out more about nature in a playful way.
