Whether on the natural ice of an enchanting mountain lake or in an ice rink, here you will find the perfect place to skate
Amidst the snowy winter landscape near La Villa (Stern), Lake Sompunt is situated. As soon as it gets cold enough, the small mountain lake (Ladin: Lech da Sompunt) at an altitude of 1,460 m freezes over, transforming into a beautiful natural ice rink. Here, you can skate until the evening or try your hand at ice stock sport. You can conveniently hire the necessary equipment, such as ice skates or ice stocks, directly at the lake. For a little refreshment afterwards, the bar and restaurant at the adjacent Hotel Lech da Sompunt are available.

On the other hand, you can skate regardless of the weather at the indoor ice rink in Corvara (pictured). It's not only a great alternative in bad weather but also provides a welcome cool-down on hot summer days. An ice skate rental and a bar for drinks and snacks complete the facilities on site.
